About eVAC Magnetics LLC Domestic Production of Rare-Earth Magnets: A National Security and Economic Priority
The Department of Defense (DoD) considers rare-earth (RE) magnets to be “critical materials,” essential to the protecting both the capabilities of every branch of the U.S. military and America’s economic security.
There is an annual domestic demand for tens of thousands of metric tons of RE magnets for both civilian and military use, but global supply chains are increasingly volatile.
That’s where eVAC comes in. We’re investing in America to onshore these critical minerals, protect America’s economic edge, create jobs here at home, and help address decades of global trade imbalances that have harmed American workers.
Not only does increasing production in the U.S. give America vital soft-power leverage when dealing with other nations, but it also directly impacts our military readiness, bolstering our national security and economic security.
